Born in Dalmasca while the region was under Garlean rule, Fareed had a tumultuous start to life. His parents were proud Dalmascans, refusing to bend entirely under the new banner. His early years were spent in the figurative walls of the resistance, watching his parents and their people fight back against the invasive rule. However, the early years of the resistance were messy, and the Empire had the ranks to squash the attempts at uprisings. At too young an age, Fareed lost both of his parents. The members of the resistance helped as much as they could, but they had their own problems to handle. So Fareed took to the streets as an orphan, learning how to survive.

The loss of his parents fueled his own anger towards Garlemald, and he continued to aid the resistance efforts as he grew. His time on the streets taught him how to move quickly and quietly, becoming as undetected as possible. He also became pretty handy with a bow, relying on hunting skills when thieving couldn't earn him a meal.

Fareed is through and through, built like an archer. Had one seen him as a younger man, they would not believe this to be the same person. After years of working at it, Fareed's gaunt frame filled out, strong shoulders and back showing his usage of bows, accompanied by a strong core and steady stance. His hair is a ruddy orange color and usually tied in a semi-curly ponytail. Should it be loose, it looks to fall just to his collarbones. His eyes are a vibrant green and reflect his clan heritage with the slitted pupils.Depending on the day and what he is doing, he goes between lightweight traveling clothes or layers meant to protect from harsh desert sun. Regardless, he's usually seen wearing a decorative metal circlet with a reddish jewel in the center. He is half Miqo'te and half Hrothgar. He has a tail more akin to a Hroth and tiger stripe-esque markings on his body. Those are NOT tattoos!
Simple Living: Having lived a poor orphan most of his life, he seems fairly comfortable in less-than-favorable circumstances. He travels lightly and inexpensively. He also seems content to sleep...anywhere BUT a proper bed.Bullseye: For someone who isn't properly trained, he has a natural knack for the bow. His accuracy is deadly. A handy sharpshooter, should there be a need for it.Proud Dalmascan: Never one to shy away from his heritage, he does little to mask his accent or use of his mother tongue. He is eager to find others from his homeland, and will gravitate towards them should he come across a fellow Dalmascan.Hidden Talent?: He may not be a professional, but Fareed enjoys playing music and singing as a hobby. A sort of self-soothing mechanism he picked up over the years, he'll occasionally be willing to grace an acquaintance with a little performance. Most of his song choices are traditional pieces from his homeland, a small rebellion to preserve the culture that the Empire so desperately tried to suffocate.
